Kumbh Mela ‘2025 – Prayagraj, India

Sun, January 12, 2025 - Tue, February 25, 2025 (12:00 am - 12:00 am)

Description

Welcome to the largest human gathering in the world!

The Kumbh Mela is a holy pilgrimage taken by hundreds of thousands of pious Hindus (and now even others purely for the travel experience) every four years to take a ritualistic dip in the Ganga river, purportedly to purge themselves of their life’s sins. There are four cities –  — Allahabad or Prayagraj, Ujjain, Puri and Haridwar — where the Kumbh takes place on a rotational basis every four years each. (So effectively each of those cities hosts a Kumbh Mela every 12 years)

The Kumbh Mela of Allahabad or Prayagraj (new name) is going to be held from 14th of January, 2025 till 26th of February, 2025 at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj.

There will be millions of people coming in from all over India to take holy baths, attend pravachans, or spiritual talks, given by well-known saints and gurus. In addition, the Mela has cultural events such as mythological story dramatisations, devotional music, and folk dances.

Join us in this extraordinary journey and witness the confluence of tradition, devotion, and enlightenment.
