Ganga Sustainability Run: Eco Marathon
Description
The 5th Ganga Sustainability Run is a premier eco-marathon held on 1 November 2026 in Rishikesh, Himalayas. Organized by the Vivekananda Youth Connect Foundation in association with Parmarth Niketan, the event champions the message “Run for a Clean Ganga, Run for a Greener Tomorrow”.
Participants can choose from four distinct distance categories—the 50 KM Super Ultra Run, 35 KM Ultra Run, 21.1 KM Half Marathon, and 10 KM Experience Run—taking them across trails along the sacred Ganges, lush forests, and Himalayan peaks. The run unites endurance, spirituality, and ecological action to protect Himalayan biodiversity and foster a sustainable future.
Start location: Ganga Barrage, Neelkanth Road, Opposite Gate #1, AIIMS, Rishikesh
