Description
The Yoga guru and founder of this renowned yoga school, Satyavrat Sharma comes from a lineage of Brahmin priests — his ancestors were personal priests to Dronacharya — he has been entrenched in the Vedic way of living since his childhood. An engineer in a past life, he’s now a Vedic astrologer and a yoga guru for over 15 years who has learnt from a direct student of Sri Pattabhi Jois. Satyashakti yoga specialises in classic style of Yoga as well as Kundalini yoga and Ashtanga yoga.
The yoga philosophy classes offered as part of the Teacher Training program (TTC) focus on the Advaita Vedanta and Bhagwat Geeta teachings.
The school conducts its classes on a raised terrace deck offering great views of the Dharamkot valley with rooms on lower levels.
Daily drop-in classes are also provided.
